Submission Guidelines

1. Eligibility and Scope

Original, unpublished research that enhances artificial intelligence, quantum computing, or its intersection should be submitted by authors. Appropriate subjects include, but are not restricted to: Quantum neural networks, quantum AI algorithms, and quantum machine learning. AI-powered calibration, error correction, and control of quantum technology. Benchmark investigations, theoretical underpinnings, and hybrid quantum-classical systems. mconsequences of quantum-AI applications on society, ethics, or the environment.

Disclosure is required for submissions that are being considered concurrently by another journal, including preprint posting. Conference papers that offer substantial originality are encouraged to be translated or expanded.

Segment & Word Limits:

≤8,000 – 10,000 words of original research (not including references).

Title Page:

Made available for double-blind peer review as an independent, anonymous file.

Supplementary Material: For reproducibility, upload publicly available code, hardware schematics, or datasets. The authorship satisfies the requirements of IJQCAI and COPE, which include accountability, an accepted final version, and a significant contribution. Submissions must include a clear contribution statement, such as "Author A designed experiments; Author B analysed data..."

Plagiarism and Originality

All submissions, including preprints, must be unique and unpublished elsewhere. All borrowed concepts or text must be properly cited.

The Peer Review Procedure

Double-Blind Review: At least two impartial experts anonymise and review manuscripts. Reviewers are required to disclose any potential biases, avoid conflicts of interest, and maintain anonymity. Editor responsibilities include making sure peer review adheres to COPE flowcharts. If they are conflicted, they must resign and deal with complaints in an unbiased manner. Retraction, Appeals, and Correction Policy Errors & Misconduct: The journal will look into any post-publication errors or allegations of misconduct, reference COPE flowcharts, and take the necessary steps, such as issuing redactions, errata, or expressions of concern Retractions: Articles with major violations (such as data fraud, plagiarism, or undeclared COI) may be retracted in accordance with COPE retraction guidelines. Appeals: Under the supervision of an independent editorial committee, authors have the right to challenge editorial decisions in a private procedure. Authorship Disputes: In the event that authorship disputes emerge, the journal will adhere to COPE's recommendations, which include referring to en.wikipedia.org for institutional resolution.

Prior to submission, authors need to verify or record:

  • Unique, unpublished work that falls within the parameters
  • Disclosures of conflict of interest and authorship
  • Declaration of AI usage (if appropriate)
  • If necessary, ethical permission for data involving humans or animals
  • Code/data accessibility or retention strategy
  • Adherence to privacy, copyright, and data protection
  • No concurrent filing elsewhere
  • We welcome your input and are available to facilitate the open, moral sharing of innovative research at the cutting edge of quantum-AI.
